BAME Women in Travel CIC, with the support of TTG Media, created an engaging panel discussing racial diversity within the travel industry on 11 June 2020.

In addition to discussing the current state of racial diversity within the travel industry, the panelists discussed how businesses must first recognise the systems that enable racism and then seek to unpack the various intersectionalities of racial injustice, starting with how their organisations hire, promote and support black employees.

Our panelist included: Martinique Lewis (Diversity in Travel Consultant), Bex Shapiro (Intrepid Travel Senior Editorial Manager), Eulanda Osagiede (HDYTI Co-founder & D&I Consultant), Sophie Griffith (TTG Editor), Cecelia Adjei (Visit Britain Global Brand Partnership), and Jamie-Lee Abtar (BAME Women in Travel Exec. Director).
